Tickets were there on our arrival at the hotel! Bus was very useful as it allowed you to explore the city. Guide was useful. Far better than just using the metro/bus line. There were also plenty of buses which allowed waiting kept to a minimal (max wait was 5 minutes). Only used the boat once as found it rather slow if you wanted to get anywhere. Would recommend the night bus also.

Exploring Paris with both the Batobus and L'Open Tour, even for one who has been to Paris, is an excellent way to go. I must recommend for 1st timers to get both the L'Open Tour and the Batobus. 2 transports in one ticket to see Paris. By bus, you get to see North, South, East and West of Paris. We still used it even if we travelled by Metro usually when we want to make it to our home base fast. Paris A La Carte, an excellent choice.

This "Paris a la Carte" is not well known by visitors, it's often the best combo along with a metro pass. Thank you.

The Paris A La Carte is a great way to get around Paris. It was easy and safe and covered everywhere we wanted to visit in Paris. I was travelling with my 13 year old daughter and for us this was a fantastic way to see Paris. I found Conciergerie to be very efficient and reliable and I would highly recommend them.

We loved the Open Air Bus. Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to use our boat tickets.

The choice of the PALC ticket was fantastic as it gives you both the bus (which has 4 routes) and the batobus. On our trip the weather was mixed so we could swap between the open bus and the boat which was covered depending on the weather. it was great seeing Paris from the Seine.

All the busses and boats were very crowded so hard to get a seat. The phone jacks on some busses didn't work. The boats were really hot because the captains kept the plexiglass windows down even though the sun was shining. Busses are not a convenient way to get around the city because of the traffic - next time we'll ride the metro.
