There may be unavoidable security queues at museums. The cut-the-line rule do not apply at the following places because there's only one queue for entrance and security check: Notre-Dame Towers, Sainte Chapelle and Versailles castle.

Some places did not make it clear, with signage, that pass holders could beat the queue, eg Rodin Museum. It felt, therefore, as though you were pushing in. Pass of little value for "beat the queue at Versailles", simply because of the number of visitors.

This is by far the best option for getting a museum pass! Book it in advance and have the tickets sent to your hotel. Pay close attention to the lines at the museums, you do not need to wait in the same line as everyone who is buying tickets - these lines are not always obvious.

- Question: Can I buy them directly at the pickup location?
- Answer: No, you must place your order online at JustRing first to be able to pickup your passes there. That's the only way to manage passes stocks and be ready for your visit with service efficiency in mind.

- Answer: No, passes are valid for consecutive days only, beginning with the first day you use them (not from the date of purchase or delivery). They don't have dates printed on them.

- Answer: No, you must buy separate tickets directly at the Eiffel Tower because they need to control the flow of visitors. Tip: There's a smart way to get Eiffel Tower tickets, details on this page.
- Question: What's included exactly at Versailles Castle?
- Answer: The museum pass includes access to all tours at the Palace of Versailles, open according to the season ( "Grands Appartements", Hall of Mirrors, King's Bedchamber, Queen's Bedchamber, Dauphin and Dauphine apartments as well as those of Louis XV's daughters - weekends only - exhibitions, Trianon Castles and Estate of Marie-Antoinette) and the audio tours. Please note that the Fountain Show and musical gardens are NOT included in this pass. To visit the gardens and the Fountain show, just buy tickets while there.
- Question: What about museum passes for children?
- Answer: Children under 18 are admitted free to museums. Just show your adult passes and take your children in with you.
- Question: Is there a Museum/Transportation pass?
- Answer: Yes, it's called Paris ComboPass® Premium.
- Question: Are some museums free the first Sunday of the month?
- Answer: Yes, that's correct, but I would certainly choose another date to visit museums because there's no way to avoid queues, even for Museum Pass holders!
- Question: Aren't museums free for those under 26?
- Answer: Yes, some of them are. This is true for permanent exhibitions only at le Louvre, Orsay, Picasso, Marine Museum, Arc de Triomphe, Pantheon, and Notre-Dame de Paris Towers, BUT visitors between 18 and 25 must wait in line for a free ticket. This is required for statistics purposes.
